About the Author
Shay Davis is a wife, mother, and a full-time paralegal. She fights on the behalf of others by day, and creates soul stirring Black love stories by night. The busy streets of Philadelphia raised Shay, but she received her education from schools in the neighboring suburbs. The juxtaposition left Shay labeled as not "hood enough" for the city, or "proper enough" for the suburbs. As refuge, Shay found solace between the pages of her journal, releasing her innermost thoughts and penning her every desire. Her passion for capturing her emotions turned into creating magnetic stories of Black love, and eventually she manifested that passion into becoming a published author.
