Lila has been writing since 2013 and has published more than 40 titles across a range of romance subgenres, including motorcycle club, MM romance, romantic comedies, and why choose. But she always wanted to venture into the dark and dangerous world of the Mafia. While her strengths lay in creating heartfelt, emotional moments, she knew she needed someone who could help bring the darker edge to life.

That's when her daughter, Shayla, stepped in.

Combining Lila's lighter storytelling with Shayla's darker style, the mother-daughter duo released their first co-written novel, Malice, in 2026. It became Book One in the Dark Devotion series, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for them both.
