James S. Aaron is a bestselling author of fifteen novels in space opera and military science fiction. He has written series with New York Times Bestselling Author M.D. Cooper and USA Today Bestseller JN Chaney.

He is a twelve year U.S. Army veteran, serving as a medic and later platoon leader and company commander, followed by nine years working with law enforcement. His novels draw heavily on his military and law enforcement experience, including the characters, operations, technology and locales.

James lives in Oregon with his family, where he enjoys being outside, hacking electronics, bad carpentry and All Things Science Fiction. He's a member of the Science Fiction Writers of America.
