Mia Barron
About the Performer

Mia has narrated hundreds of audio books. She has been nominated for two Audie awards, has won the Publisher’s Weekly “Listen Up” Award for Best Female Narration and been awarded AudioFile’s Golden Earphones award multiple times. For her New York Theatre work she has received a Lortel award, two Obie awards and a Drama Desk Award, for her work in the hit Off Broadway productions of “The Wolves”, “Hurricane Diane.” And “The Coast Starlight” She has appeared on Broadway in Tom Stoppard’s Tony winning production of “The Coast of Utopia” and in premieres of new works at the major Off-Broadway theatres including; The Public, Manhattan Theatre Club, Lincoln Center, Playwrights Horizons, Atlantic Theatre Company and New York Theatre Workshop. Recent television includes recurring roles on Get Short, NCIS, and Law and Order: True Crime. Other television work includes Comedy Central’s Review, HBO’s The Devil You Know, Newsroom, Elementary, Glee, Blue Bloods, Grey’s Anatomy, Medium, Numb3rs, Bones, Modern Family, Children’s Hospital, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, as well as a long-running role as the voice of Molotov on Adult Swim’s The Venture Brothers (Cartoon Network).  Film work includes I Smile Back, The F Word, 27 Dresses, Amnesiac, 411, Righteous Kill, 40, Half Empty/Half Full and First Love. She co-created and starred in the hit Off Broadway production of Big Times, as well as the international tour of Joan Didion’s The White Album, which premiered at BAM’s Next Wave Festival. She has an MFA from the Graduate Acting Program at NYU.
