Charlie is a multi-nominated SOVAS and ONE Voice talent, a SOVAS and Earphones Award Winner, AudioFile best voice 2025 and recipient of the w3 (AIVA) “Best Voiceover in Video” for Christian Dior. In addition to voicing video games and tv promos, she’s recorded 180+ audiobooks both as herself and under the pseudonym Allie Rose.
Her distinctive storytelling style is marked by vivid characterizations, a whip smart sense of humor, and immersive performances. Charlie’s background is as diverse as her talents and shapes her nuanced approach in the studio.
Thanks to English, Welsh, and Scottish heritage and years living across Europe and the USA, she has honed a broad range of accents and dialects.
She performs in every genre from Literary Fiction to Horror, and also performs Romance and Erotica under “Allie Rose.”
She says "It doesn’t matter what’s happening in the world, the moment I step into the studio, it is like walking into a wondrous world full of mystery, magic and mayhem and she is the alchemist".
Charlie has a passion for uplifting women’s voices and highlighting the power and strength women have regardless of lived circumstances. She has a BSc (Hons) in Food Science, Consumer Psychology, and Behaviour, a minor in Broadcast Journalism, and her culinary arts training allows her to authentically capture the flavour and rhythm of each script she narrates.
As a mother to three school and college aged children and two sweet Maltese dogs - Charlie is used to juggling a veritable feast of balls. Her voice can be heard across best selling audiobooks, animation, commercials, documentary and in show narration, meditation apps, award winning video games, and audio drama.
Charlie believes in giving back, she is an investor and member of Voiceover for The Planet, a member of Women's Media Group and Building Doors.
She serves prominent clients worldwide from her pro home studio; including Audible, Dior, Disney, Harper Collins, Warner Bros. & more. She loves stepping into the studio and working her alchemy to bring magic to her listeners ears.
