Hi! My name is Josh Innerst. I'm an actor and Earphones Award winning audiobook narrator based in the midwest. With 170+ titles under my belt, my performances range from stories full of colorful characters to research heavy non-fiction. I have an extensive classical theater background of 20+ years, spending several as a resident company member at the American Shakespeare Center. I’m drawn to projects that feature a dynamic and diverse cast of characters, yet are balanced with a wry sense of humor.

In addition to audiobook narration, I stay active with commercial VO and on-camera work. Recent film credits include THE ALTO KNIGHTS with Robert DeNiro and SENIORS with John Rhys-Davies. I'm represented by The Docherty Agency, and I also produce and engineer titles directly for Indie Authors. I've taught Shakespeare & Performance at Oberlin College & Conservatory, as well as various text analysis and stage craft workshops at theatre companies all across the country, and am currently a Faculty Mentor for the MFA in Theatre at Randolph College.

I love nothing more than spending time in the kitchen with my wife, walking my dogs, or putzing in the garden!
